Trên thực tế tất cả các file bao gồm Registry và các tập tin có thể được xử lý bằng UltraDefrag trong quá trình khởi động Windows. Ngay sau buổi ghi hình đầu tiên, ê kíp thực hiện đã cùng họp lại chỉnh sửa từng chi tiết: lời thoại, trang phục, âm thanh... Trước buổi ghi hình thứ hai, cả nhóm vẫn tiếp tục luyện tập, trau chuốt từng phân cảnh, động tác, lời nói. Chương trình Táo quân 2012 được phát sóng vào lúc 20 giờ ngày 22-1 (tức 29 tết) trên Đài truyền hình Việt Nam.
